Farida Buyatova is a value-driven and detail-oriented lawyer with a passion for art and fashion.

Farida holds a PhD in Private International and Comparative laws and from 2005 to 2022 enjoyed a fruitful career as a University Professor teaching civil and comparative laws.

Throughout her academic career, she also carried out teaching activities as a visiting professor at various European universities, regularly appeared as a speaker at international conferences and seminars and is an author of more than 40 academic articles.

Following her passion for fashion and driven by a strong desire for personal growth and development, in 2023 Farida embarked on a journey of Fashion Law and obtained an LLM degree in Fashion and Luxury law from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.

Farida currently lives in Milan and focuses on the issues of sustainability and new technologies in the fashion industry.

To put her extensive expertise and skills into practice, in 2024, Farida has launched her own brand of shoes “Made in Italy” dedicated to the idea of supporting local manufacturers and artisans along with promoting sustainable practices.

Massimo Foglia is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Bergamo, where he has been shaping the academic landscape since 2018. With a Ph.D. in European Private Law from the University of Padua and a law degree with honors from the University of Bergamo, he combines academic excellence with extensive international experience.

Over the years, Massimo has been a visiting scholar at prestigious institutions like the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg, the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law, and the University of Heidelberg, enhancing his expertise in contract law, tortious liability, and comparative private law.

He has contributed significantly to the legal field through his research, including awards such as the Francesco Santoro-Passarelli Prize and the Edoardo Ruffini Prize from Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. A sought-after speaker, he has delivered lectures on international commercial and comparative contract law across Europe, from Lausanne and Valencia to Maastricht and Belgrade.

In addition to his academic contributions, Massimo actively participates in several professional associations. His dedication to advancing legal scholarship and fostering cross-border collaboration underscores his impact in both academia and the broader legal community.
